Joy of life in every detail
Anyone who visits CRESCO enters a world of flavors and community. From the aroma of freshly baked pitas to the sounds of lively conversations – life, flavor, and togetherness are the focus here. Our challenge was to translate this atmosphere into a brand world that is just as tangible in the digital space as it is at the table.
Task & Concept
Capturing the essence: We began by asking what defines CRESCO at its core. Is it sharing food, the diversity of regional spices, or the feeling of being part of a larger family? In workshops with the team, we distilled these values into a clear brand core: openness, generosity, and joie de vivre.
Developing a visual language: Based on the brand essence, we designed a visual world full of warmth and intensity. Mediterranean color palettes, natural textures, and dynamic image compositions create a sense of abundance and enjoyment. An elegant serif font lends grace to the headings, while a modern sans serif carries the informative text.
Social design system: Since the restaurant aims to have a strong social media presence, we developed a flexible design system for posts, stories, and reels. Recurring design elements (frames, textures, color gradients) ensure recognition while leaving room for spontaneous content. Photos and short video clips authentically capture the people, dishes, and atmosphere and utilize the possibilities offered by the channels—such as swipe sequences, interactive stickers, and polls.
Storytelling on-site and online: To bridge the gap between the digital and physical experience, we also designed the menu, posters, and takeaway packaging in the CRESCO look. QR codes on the menus lead directly to recipes, stories about the suppliers, or playlists playing in the restaurant.
Result & Effect
The new brand world brings CRESCO to life as a lifestyle brand. Visitors experience a consistent look and feel – from the first Instagram post to the reservation confirmation to the final meal. The social design system relieves the team of content creation tasks and ensures a steady, high-quality flow of stories. Inappropriate third-party quotes and generic stock photos are removed. Instead, every detail speaks the language of joie de vivre, taste, and togetherness.
