From the orchard to the glass – and to the web
The Steden family has been making cider and juice from over 70 apple varieties for decades—true regional craftsmanship. How do you showcase this love for their homeland and tradition online?
Story & Design
The roots tell a story: We portrayed the origins: the orchards through the seasons, the family business in the winery, and the passion for varietal diversity. Photos and short videos show the harvest, pressing, and storage.
Colors and typography: Warm, earthy colors—inspired by ripe apples, wooden barrels, and autumn leaves—form the foundation. Headlines are set in a distinctive serif font that exudes tradition; body copy is set in a clear sans serif for contemporary readability.
Navigation and interaction: The website's structure is simple and invites exploration. An interactive map shows the origin of the apple varieties; in the shop, visitors can filter products by flavor or variety. Subtle hover effects, scroll animations, and discreetly displayed quotes bring the page to life without being cluttered.
Connecting online and offline: QR codes on the bottles lead to recipe ideas, cocktail tips, and video tutorials. A blog tells stories of regional producers and traditions.
Result & Effect
The new website brings local artisanship and local love to life: Visitors are invited to discover the variety of varieties and immerse themselves in the world of Kelterei Steden. The brand appears both down-to-earth and modern – just like its cider.
