Telling a new era of payment

Cash is declining in importance, and digital payment methods are dominating our everyday lives – from the subway to the street market. NEXI is at the center of this transformation. Our task was to make this role visible and translate the abstract technology into human stories.

Brand Discovery

Focus on trust and progress: In discussions with retailers and end customers, we identified three key expectations: security, simplicity, and sustainability. These values form the strategic triangle of the new brand.

Personas & Journeys: We developed personas (such as the small boutique owner, the startup founder, the traveling consumer) and mapped their interactions with NEXI. This allowed us to specifically stage communicative touchpoints.

Campaign development

Real stories, real success: Instead of spreading abstract claims, we portrayed real customers. In short films, they talk about their experiences with NEXI.

Visual signature: We combined the clarity of technical graphics with inviting photography. Clean lines and fresh colors signal efficiency and ease. A minimalist logo, complemented by a dynamic pattern, conveys movement – fitting for the fast, seamless payment process.

Cross-media storytelling: The campaign features TV spots, social ads, podcasts, and influencer collaborations. In podcasts, NEXI talks to entrepreneurs about their digitalization journey; on TikTok, we present micro-tutorials on contactless payment.

Result & Effect

NEXI was positioned as the PayTech of the future. The brand has transformed into a trusted partner for individuals and businesses. The campaign increased brand awareness, helped acquire new merchants, and strengthened the loyalty of existing customers.
